I struggled at my former school. When I came here to Hodayot, I immediately felt welcomed. My teachers helped me to feel at home and I understood that this is my place. This is where I belong.
I am a triplet, and all three of us from my family study and live here at Hodayot. We grew up in Kfar Saba, which is about two hours away. At home, my parents went through a difficult divorce and they were not able to raise all three of us and provide for us, so my brothers and I came here.
Coming to Hodayot was not something I had planned to do. My brothers enrolled first, and I came to visit and saw how much they liked it and I decided to enroll. We are treated very well here by teachers and by our friends. I enjoy learning and living here.
Before coming to Hodayot, I struggled at my former school. I had no friends there. When I came here to Hodayot, I immediately felt welcomed. My teachers helped me to feel at home and I understood that this is my place. This is where I belong.
Hodayot has changed my life completely. I am now an honor roll student. I love to study biology here. I love my teacher Itzhik—he is always making sure I am okay and feeling comfortable in my classes.
In my free time, I play guitar, I ride horses and take care of them in the stables here, and I play basketball. Since I have been here, I have improved my self-confidence. I have lots of friends now and it makes me happy when I think about how far I’ve come.
