I love that my family is so proud of me. They know that the opportunities are better for me here at Hodayot, and they are very proud of my success.

This is my second year at Hodayot. I grew up in Petah Tikva. I come from a very big family. I am the youngest of eight brothers and sisters.

At home, it was very difficult to be in school and to learn there. It was a rough environment, and I had a difficult time with the teachers at my school. Most of what I learned, I taught myself. Growing up, I taught myself how to speak English by listening to music and watching movies and television.

When I came to Hodayot, it changed me. The teachers treated me like I am their daughter. They always want to listen and help me. I actually love learning here.

My favorite teacher is my English teacher because he is amazing. He is funny and I go to him whenever I have a problem. My English teacher recognizes that I really love English and he encourages me to try harder and do more. English is a hard language to learn, and my teacher helps me learn it in the correct way, compared to the slang that I learned previously.

I love that my family is so proud of me. They know that the opportunities are better for me here at Hodayot, and they are very proud of my success. I am taking part in the police-training track here, and when I grow up I want to be a police officer because I admire what they do to help and protect people.
