                  About The Authors

Jennifer Weiner brings charm and wit to the podium, discussing her bestselling books, personal stories, and women’s search for a sense of self. In the same sharp and entertaining tone that fills her novels, Weiner wins over audiences with her unforgettable comedic style, making her an audience favorite.

A #1 New York Times bestselling author, Jennifer has penned more than two dozen books that have sold over 11 million copies in 36 countries and have collectively spent more than five years on the New York Times bestseller list. She writes "engrossing popular novels that take women seriously” (Washington Post) and "[give] 'chick lit' a good name" (New York Times). Her new book, The Griffin Sisters' Greatest Hits, explores sisterhood, motherhood, young love, and the dreams we chase set against the glimmering backdrop of the pop music industry.

Over the course of more than two decades, Jennifer has written compulsively readable novels with rich emotional depth that center women, exploring themes such as complex familial relationships, the challenges of being a plus-size woman, the difficulties of motherhood, rollercoaster romances, the social landscape of modern America, and, above all, the way the world treats—and mistreats—women.

Recent bestsellers include The Breakaway and The Summer Place. She is also the author of noteworthy titles such as Mrs. Everything; Good in Bed; In Her Shoes, which was turned into a major motion picture starring Cameron Diaz, Toni Collette, and Shirley MacLaine; Little Earthquakes; Goodnight Nobody; the short story collection The Guy Not Taken; Certain Girls; Best Friends Forever; Fly Away Home; Then Came You; The Next Best Thing; All Fall Down, and Who Do You Love. She is also the author of The Littlest Bigfoot middle-grade trilogy and the critically-acclaimed memoir, Hungry Heart: Adventures in Life, Love, and Writing, which was a finalist for the PEN/Diamonstein-Spielvogel Award for the Art of the Essay.

Outside of her fiction writing, Jennifer uses her social media platform to amplify women's voices and speak on topics including self-esteem, body positivity, and the way books by women are reviewed and consumed. As a New York Times Opinion contributor, she offers a feminist perspective on pop culture moments in essays that frequently top the list of trending articles. Jennifer's work has also been published in Seventeen, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Allure, TIME, and Good Housekeeping.
