The latest happenings at ORT America.
Be INSPIRED by a review of our accomplishments, especially at a time when we have been facing so many challenges. Howard Lanznar, Chairman of the Board, will reflect on 2020 and recognize those who have made a difference this year.
LEARN about our exciting path to the future from Barbara Birch, ORT America President and CEO and Dan Green, World ORT Director General and CEO, as they deliver the new strategic vision built on the three pillars of Education for Successful Employment; Jewish Values; and Global Citizenship. Their plan will guide us forward for the next five years.
EXPERIENCE ORT’s impact firsthand during breakout sessions with amazing ORT students and alumni who will share their personal stories of how they are successfully advancing in their education thanks to the ORT teachers who were able to pivot to online learning almost seamlessly.
Watch for announcements about additional programming and video presentations you won’t want to miss!

This high energy “girls-night out” attracts 400 ladies of all generations from Walled Lake to Bloomfield Hills, from Birmingham to Huntington Woods. Play 10 rounds of BINGO, with prizes valued at $100 or more, including cash and gift cards, and enjoy a fabulous strolling dinner, signature cocktails, a silent auction with a diverse selection of items, and 30 raffles with highly desired prizes.
Join us to honor ORT’s Heroes, our teachers, and view the live dedication of the Science & Technology building at the K’far Silver Youth Village in Israel.
Please support ORT Ohio by acknowledging a local hero who has impacted your life during COVID-19 pandemic: Healthcare workers, teachers, neighbors, clergy, friends or family members.
Each honoree will receive a tribute card notifying them of your gift. During the November 8th virtual event you, and your hero, will be identified in an honor listing. An ad in the Cleveland Jewish News will also recognize you and your hero.
Stay at home and zoom in to the Negev with ORT America!
Learn how Ben Gurion envisioned making the dessert bloom just as ORT makes it possible for our students to bloom!
The virtual tour of Ben-Gurion’s Desert Home is a unique opportunity for an intimate and exclusive visit in the home of the first prime minister of Israel who declared the independence of the State of Israel, established the I.D.F and built the foundations of Israel and the connections between Israel and world Jewry. During this unusual period which keeps you at home, join us for an opportunity to hop over the ropes of the museum and show you hidden places never seen on a ‘regular’ visit.
Included is a short video of Ben Gurion, the virtual tour, followed by Q & A with the museum guide
$25 per person and Sponsorships available
